Lets get married – a magical bali elopement

Late last year, on a total whim, we decided to get married in Bali. Just the three of us.

We’ve been together for almost ten years, engaged for five of those, and thought it was probably about time. The idea of a traditional wedding was never quite us, and the thought of spending a tonne of money on one single day just didn’t feel right. So, more excited than ever, we locked it in.

Over the last nearly ten years we have achieved so much together. Travelling, living together, buying a property, surgeries, hospital stays, battling infertility and IVF and then finally navigating the crazy world of parenthood. All together as one little team. Through the really incredibly shitty times, and the simply amazing ones, we’ve been there, together. So, this was our way of celebrating it all and just how far we’ve come these last ten years. A day simply for no one else, but us.

  1. LOVE this. So intimate and breathtakingly magical. I have never really been the type for a traditional wedding either. My fiancé and I have been engaged for almost 2 years now and this looks perfect. How did you go about planning this special day?

  2. I just think this is perfect. For me it just doesn’t make any sense to spend a bucket full of money on a single day, so this is just the best wedding I’ve seen. How did you plan this? Did you plan ahead with the venue in Bali?

  3. WOW your wedding looks amazing and is exactly what my partner and I (plus our two boys) are wanting.
Can I ask how you arranged everything, did you book via the venue or use a wedding planner,
